Unitron Introduces Smallest Ever RIC Hearing Aid
Unitron has announced the release of Moxi™ Now, which is the world’s smallest wireless receiver-in-the-canal (RIC) hearing aid. Moxi Now is the latest addition to Unitron’s design-focused line up of RIC hearing instruments and will be available on the North Platform. We expect it to hit our shores soon so we decided to have an early look at it.
Small But Powerful
As you can see from the picture, Unitron’s tiny Moxi Now is about the size of 2 stacked blueberries. According to Unitron, Moxi Now measures just 20.2mm tall and 6.5mm wide. That's 39% smaller than their own next smallest RIC, and 14% smaller than the next closest competitor. They say that the Moxi Now will deliver great comfort, discretion and functionality. The new hearing aid was designed to offer the discretion that some wearers like. It is a fully automatic, high performance, wireless hearing instrument that you can set and forget.
As we said, the Moxi Now is built on the outstanding North sound processing platform,it allows you to participate in every conversation while experiencing natural sound and comfortable listening with complete discretion. It will be available in the Pro, 800, 700 and 600 levels of technology. It provides an amazingly discreet option for people who need the versatility and power that a RIC can offer.
We will keep you up to date on the launch event and when the devices will be available to try on. If you have any questions about hearing aids or hearing loss, or you would like a hearing test on the Isle of Man, why don't you give us a call on 830722 or book your appointment online now.
